William D. Wright, DDS
Dr. William Wright loves to laugh and make his patients feel happy and at home. Seeing the joy and satisfaction of his patients as their smile transforms their self-esteem and confidence is what drives him. He is passionate about teeth and orthodontics, and he spends many hours each year in continuing education. He is committed to excellence. He combines the best in technology and techniques with the art and science of orthodontics to create beautiful smiles.
Dr. Wright is a people person. He is involved with the youth and has coached basketball and baseball, and he sponsors other sports teams. He is heavily involved in his church activities and enjoys working with the youth. Dr. Wright loves music of all types. He is an accomplished jass bassist and enjoys performing. He has played with several prestigious groups over the years at BYU, including the Philharmonic Orchestra and Synthesis. He was a musician for the BYU Young Ambassadors and traveled wtih them for several years. He worked as a pit musician at the old Promise Valley Playhouse in Salt Lake for two seasons. He also played in a rock and roll band during his college days and spent many weekends traveling with them. He is currently playing string bass in the Uintah Basin Orchestra and Chorus.
He adores his beautiful wife, Jackie, and his growing family. He has six children and four grandchildren, and he loves spending time with them. He enjoys the outdoors, backpacking, fly fishing and working in the yard and garden.
Dr. Wright received his Bachlor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. He graduated with honors while achieving his dental degree (DDS) at the University of Missouri at Kansas City (UMKC). He was then accepted to, graduated from and received his speciality training from the Orthodontics residency program, also at UMKC. While at UMKC, he received multiple awards for academic achievement. Before graduation, he was elected to the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Following his training, he returned to Utah to practice orthodontics.
Dr. Wright is a past president of the Utah Association of Orthodontics and is an active member of several national, state and local professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Utah Association of Orthodontists, Utah Dental Association, and Uintah Basin District Dental Society. He also served as a district representative on the Board of Directors for the Utah Dental Association.
Todd C. Wright, DDS
Dr. Todd C. Wright was born and raised in Heber City, Utah, and he graduated from Wasatch High School in 1999. He attended Utah State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. Dr. Todd was then accepted to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors in 2010 while achieving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He was then accepted to the University of Oklahoma Orthodontics Residency, where he received his specialty certificate and Masters of Science degree in Orthodontics in 2012. While at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Todd was the recipient of multiple awards for his academic achievements, and he was elected to the prestigious National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Since graduating, Dr. Todd was lucky enough to be able to join up with his brother, Dr. William Wright, at Wright Orthodontics; he officially became a partner in 2015.
Dr. Todd Wright is board-certified through the American Board of Orthodontics, which requires rigorous credentials and additional requirements that are above and beyond his orthodontic residency. Dr. Todd Wright is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, the Utah Dental Association, and the Utah Association of Orthodontics. He currently serves on the Technology Committee, as well as the Council of New and Younger Members of the American Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Todd also greatly enjoys being involved with the local community and his church.
Dr. Todd loves almost every sport, and he loves being active in the outdoors with his wife, Michelle, and his four children. He loves to go fly fishing, camping, backpacking and mountain biking. He also enjoys building and flying radio-controlled airplanes and helicopters.
The best part about being an orthodontist for Dr. Todd is being able to meet new people and seeing them progress though the wonderful changes orthodontics provides. He feels it is a privilege to be working with his brother, Dr. William Wright, and is committed to the same excellence that has already been established at Wright Orthodontics.
